- Stand in front of a box, table, or bench that is stable, with a non-slippery surface and high enough so that the jump requires a strong effort.
- Place your feet shoulder-width apart and bend your knees as if sitting.
- Jump to land on the top of the box, bending your knees at the end of the movement to perform a soft landing.
- Step down and start again.
